  Heavy Duty Detectors for HOTEL KITCHENS  
 

It is a well-accepted fact that in large hotel kitchens using several LPG cylinders spread over a large area, the possibility of gas leak and the consequent fire / explosion hazard is very high. In spite of this very few hotels have installed the gas leak detectors. The main reason for this lapse is the non-availability of suitable detection system for this purpose. The available industrial systems are exorbitantly costly and still they do not meet the precise requirements of the hotel kitchens. The introduction of our gas detection system for hotels is expected to meet this requirement.

This system consists of several (typically upto 10) flammable gas detectors installed near the cylinders and at pipe joints in the kitchen. All these detectors are connected to two wall mountable consoles; one located in the kitchen itself and the other in the control room/security/reception room as far as 1000 meters from the kitchen. If there is any gas leak in the kitchen one or more of the detectors will detect the gas & the hooter at both the places viz kitchen & control room will sound. The two consoles will also provide information as to where or which of the gas cylinder is leaking.

Detection System for HOUSING COMPLEXES

 
 

It is an often talked about subject that gas leaks from LPG cylinders or CNG pipe lines in home kitchens poses a constant fire/explosion threat. If that happens in a high-rise building the consequences can be disastrous as it can also trap people on higher floors. Inspite of this, gas leak detectors are installed in very few flats. The main reason for this lapse is the non-availability of suitable gas detection system for this purpose.

We have now come out with a solution for this problem with the introduction of our flammable gas detector system. This system consists of flammable gas detectors installed in the kitchen of each flat in the housing complex. All such detectors can be connected to a single wall mountable console located in the security / watchman's room on the ground floor. If there is a gas leak in the kitchen of any one of the flats, the detector will instantly detect the gas and the hooters at both the places viz. the flat and the security room will sound. The console in the security room will also point out the flat in which the gas leak has occurred.

If the housing complex does not have a control room, still the installation of gas leak detectors in individual flats will alert the inmates of the flat by sounding the hooter when gas leak occurs in their flat.

With the introduction of this gas leak detectors the gas explosion hazards in housing complexes are expected to be negligible.
